CryoConduct Coating™ (3C): The exclusive technology behind GreenForce’s DUAL GRIPS handles

At GreenForce, innovation is at the core of everything we do. CryoConduct Coating™ (3C) is a perfect example of pushing boundaries. This exclusive treatment applied to the rings of our DUAL GRIPS handles ensures optimal electrical conductivity, but like all advanced technologies, it naturally evolves over time. Here’s what you need to know.

Why not a standard anodising?
Traditional anodising protects aluminium but has a major drawback: it insulates electricity. For our DUAL GRIPS, current must flow freely between the aluminium ring and the ConductThread™ inserts woven into our heated gloves.

The solution: CryoConduct Coating™ (3C)
Using a rare and high-performance method called cathodic spraying, this coating:

  • Ensures smooth and stable electrical conduction,

  • Provides advanced corrosion protection.

It’s a high-tech coating built to last.

A natural ageing process to understand
Over time, the 3C coating evolves due to:

  • UV exposure,

  • Repeated friction between the ring and the stainless steel inserts in the gloves.

This causes a gradual colour change and a subtle patina without reverting to bare metal.

Sparks visible? No worries!
You might sometimes see small sparks between the ring and the glove. This is similar to electric arcs seen in miniature electric circuits. It is purely visual and does not affect safety or performance.

In summary
CryoConduct Coating™ (3C) guarantees optimal electrical conductivity and enhanced protection, while naturally ageing with use. This evolution is normal and does not compromise the performance or durability of your DUAL GRIPS handles.
