Millimetre-wave radar enhances rider safety by detecting approaching vehicles in the blind spot and triggering a series of coordinated alerts.
It constantly monitors the rear sides of the vehicle and measures distance based on signal propagation time.
When a vehicle enters the blind spot, the Rear Radar View (RRV) alert mode is automatically activated:
Visual and/or audible alert on the main display (customisable)
A sharp, recognisable sound alerts the rider
A red warning appears on the corresponding side of the screen
The rear camera is automatically activated and displays a live view of the approaching traffic
Alert Types:
Vehicle approaching from the left ? Left side flashes red, rear camera image shown for 3 seconds, buzzer sounds
Vehicle approaching from the right ? Right side flashes red, rear camera image shown for 3 seconds, buzzer sounds
Vehicle directly behind ? Both sides flash red, rear camera image shown for 3 seconds, buzzer sounds
